Babcock Grenache Eye of the Beholder Spanish Springs Vineyard

A really great example of not letting one's eyes deceive, in that the bring pink coloration would normally be off-putting for me. Fortunately, the color did not belie jammy, overly sweet fruit. Instead, I very much enjoyed the tart raspberry and strawberry notes, well balanced by a fine acidity. I guess this spent so much time on the less, the bottom of the bottle is cloudy with harmless byproduct. Overall, very well done.

Impressive depth and length with good acidity to keep things in balance. Crazy sludgy sediment at the bottom of the bottle! Really enjoyed this.
