gets better after open

Just like the last time I tasted this wine, I consumed over 2 days. Even better than my last review. Soft tannins, lingering finish. Glad I still have a bottle remaining in inventory.

Consumed over two days. On day one, a little tart and not exciting; however, on day two this wine revealed a marvelously complex wine with aromas of cranberry and black cherry and soft velvety bramble fruit taste with a medium to long finish. Quit a surprise, anxious to try another in 6 months.

This wine is still gaining complexity. Cherry fruit a little more cooked now. Some leather, cranberry, maybe a hint of violet on the nose. Lively fresh palate with red fruit, floral notes. Acid makes it food friendly. Tannins fading at this point. Drink over the next two years.

there was good early taste as soon as bottle was opened, but after a couple of hours, the fruit was gone and the palate was flat ... better than the '06 Windsor earlier in the week, but this too sat unfinished on the counter

Nice nose of leather, pepper, good fruit, good tannins. Drinking well, probably not improving so drink up.
