Sadly, the wine was too old: while there still were remnants of sour cherry and spice box flavors, they were muted and harsh.

Dark, medicinal, black herb, almost spritzy. I think this went through a secondary fermentation in the bottle. Unpleasant.

Fabulous wine. Love it - so light and lithe, yes complex and intriguing. Save the last bottle for a couple more years.

Popped and let slow ox in the bottle for an hour and a half. The wine was a perfect starter for the evening. Nice light pinot fruit with a little mineral on the finish. Very well balanced and liked by all.
