Fruity, blood orange, wild strawberries, peach. High acidity. Very well rounded. One of my favorite italians.

Herbal strawberry, a bit of maybe rose petals but not overpowering like soap. Bright and fun for the patio

Generous berry fruit. Zippy on the palate. Touch of lemon on the finish. Enough backbone to handle light fare.

This is the second vintage of this lovely rosé from the Veneto that I have tried, and this 2019 is just as delightful as the 2018. Pale pinkish-orange, much in the Provençal style with strawberry, peach, and white flower on the nose. Pale red in the glass, it wafts aromas of sugar dusted strawberry, red currant, red plum, rose water and kiwi. Medium bodied with zippy acid that delivers tart strawberry, raspberry, cranberry, red plum and lime zest. Nicely balanced, it finishes on a surprisingly fungal note.

Interesting blend of varietals and surprisingly complex. Juicy, flavorful, and well structured.
