Coravin's for about 2 hours. Medium color with a clear rim. High toned sweet and savory spices on the nose are lifted by underlying acidity. Lovely aromatics. The bright and juicy flavors that greet the palate are firm but not austere. Tart cherry flavors are complimented by a ripe palate impression, good depth and nicely integrated tannin. Long and persistent. This site often yields the most "Burgundian" wines in the PGC stables. NSG comes to mind with this one. 92pts. …

This was singing when we opened. Bit of funk on opening, which blew off after about 30-45 minutes. Great fruit overall.

89. A little young. Balanced. Slightly tart, red fruit. Nice finish. Excellent food wine for the price.

Nose: Stemmy, earthy, def some barnyard funk. Very old world burgundian. Taste: Great tartness on the approach, almost pomegranate. Minerality on the transition and some earth and pepper on the back. Moderately long finish. Very smooth mouthfeel. Very complex, big flavors and would def work with food. There is a hint of secondary fermentation on this. Very big for a pinot; very dark on the appearance.

Very earthy & barnyard on the nose, on the palate intense black fruit, currants, pepper, with crushed rock & earth and a bit of musty mushroom. Great acidity for a pinot, very complex wine that is a baby, needs many years to settle in. Firm tannins on the finish. This is a style you will either love of hate, very burgandy in style. If your looking for an over extracted lush round pinot, look elsewhere. 95+

Patricia Green by Patricia Green : black berries, some spice and very pungent earthy frame. decent grip but perhaps a tad bit thinner than the rest of the line up

Nose of a little red fruit, mushroom, and forest floor. Palate of raspberry, mulberry, and funk.
