Very enjoyable beaujolais nouveau that still tastes fresh and vibrant. Drank it somewhat chilled and was the perfect red option for a hot summer day.

Almost bright purple, decent fruity nose. This was enjoyable. For what it is, it cannot be done better. Simple, delicious, good with food, easy to drink. Some minerality keeps it interesting, but this is not meant for deep thought, just easy drinking. Highly recommended for what a Beaujolais Nouveau can accomplish if done right. Don't get me wrong, this is not Grand Cru Burgundy...but for $10 very nice.

Color is almost irridescent. Bright fruit leaps out of the glass. Not even a hint of bitterness on the finish but nor is it particularly sweet -- a real crowd-pleaser. Stony minerality underneath the juicy fruit. If this is the "canary in the coalmine" of the 2009 vintage, all I can say is WHOA! I can't recall a tastier Beaujolais Nouveau ever, not by a long shot.

very off-putting nose. palate was simple, fruity and light. Nothing to recommend here. i'll save my last bottle for a few years and hope it improves.
