It’s fine. Too light in effect for the body it carries , but quaffable with dinner, especially a roast or a herb chicken. Low price point helps a lot.

Gamza is a new grape to me- indigenous to Bulgaria. In the glass the wine is deep ruby colored, not bad for a 6 year old bottle. The nose is very interesting- violets, black plum, blackberry, purple licorice, vanilla, tomato leaf and blueberry pie. The palate is dry with low tannins and medium acidity. Is fine. Solid soft red with a slight smokey edge and good red fruit. Medium structure. Nothing wrong here.

13% alcohol. Nose starts off rather mute and oaky. The oak subsides to show some fruit and herbs, but it’s still not the most powerful nose. The palate is rather generic without much length or distinction. Medium-light everything. Nothing offensive or over the top, but nothing outstanding. This is not good at all, I'm not sure I even tasted much fruit, heavy oak, and cheap oak at that. This is not even drinkable.
