Aromas of green apple and lemon, with volcanic mineralogy and lemon rind on the palette.

The wine looks light gold colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like lemon and pineapple. It tastes like lychee and pineapple. The body is light/medium. The wine has linear texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has medium acidity.

This one went really well with some tomato/aubergine entries and grilled fish on outdoor lunch. Chiseled freshness, smoky, strong mineral backbone, savory - cuts really well through the fatty fish. Could benefit from a year in the bottle - will get rounded and more delicious.

A blend of Assyrtiko (75%), Athiri (15%) and Aidani (10%). Aged for 3 months in new 225 l barriques. Pale lemon color. Slightly smoky and a bit sweet nose with aromas of lemony citrus, some ripe tropical fruit and a hint of nutty toast. Medium-bodied palate with moderately high acidity and sharp, piercing minerality. Flavors of ripe and sweet yellow fruit, some creaminess, a little salinity and a hint of sweet, aromatic oak. Medium-length finish with flavors of sugared lemon …

Golden colour with fully developed nutty and oaky nose despite only 3 months in oak. Not a lot of freshness flirting with oxidation. Oxidation confirmed on palate with bruised apple character and lack of freshness. Pity for the oxidated and over-oaked character.

Nutty, floral, and lean. Nice expression of the wine.

Fairly dark yellow. Expressive nose with minerality, toast, citrus fruit and scents of apricot. Medium bodied, noticeable alcohol, rich fruit and high acidity. Relatively short aftertaste. A very typical Santorini, nice to pair with fish. Excellent value at 6.5 euros a bottle (this was a special offer price at an Athens supermarket chain, but such offers are so often that tend to become the rule due to the financial crisis in Greece...)

Drank from a 187ml. No proper wines glass in hotel room so a normal cup used instead. Straw yellow, good nose of citrus and tropical fruits. Fresh and bright acidity on palate with citrus fruits and mineral. Good weight and fairly long finish. Picked up from local supermarket at Santorini for €3. Very nice value.

Medium lemon-green. Exuberant nose with flint, stoney minerals and citric fruit - like crushed stones with lemons. Has medium + body with very intense flavours and long aftertaste. It could merit a better rating but it is rather coarse in both nose and mouth aromatic character. This is not the most elegant Santorini but it is very expressive and typical and has the rather coarse style of Santo Wines which I myself enjoy very much. These wines are world-class and …

This is a blend of assyrtiko, athiri and aidani grapes. Aged for 3 months in barrel. Not imported into the US. My Sister-in-law purchased this in Greece. Opened this on Christmas Eve. This was a dry wine with a sour component to it. Notes of spiced fruit and pine resin (but it was not a retsina). 77 points.

Shows a typical for Santorini minerality and grapefruit nose. Mid-bodied with nice acidity and fruit combined with volcanic minerality. Very bitter aftertaste is disappointing, spoiling this wine.
