White Rock Vineyards Merlot

Spectacular out of the bottle, and even better after about 45 minutes in the decanter. Superb darker blue and black fruit, very mellow tannic structure, and super long finish. Absolutely loved this. Drink now with air or hold. This will probably coast along for at least another decade.

Off putting nose, and zero lift. Hardly any fruit. Would have guessed it to be a much older Merlot that was past its prime.

Better after breathing for a bit
