L'Angevin Pinot Noir

By now the fruit is overripe and the wine lack vigor, so either I drank this last bottle to late (past the youth phase) or too early. Perhaps in the next 5 years, the wine will meld into something special, but I wouldn't bet on it. This wine is really in its prime, smooth silky great nose, full on stewed fruit, with nice acidity and a really great mouth feel. All in all a very nice california wine

Excellent, balanced. Rich nose and taste of strawberry and cherries, but balanced with acid and tannins, making a perfect wine with a meal.

med ruby; med+ intensity youthful, red fruits, spice, some floral, tough of green; med+ intensity, med+ alcohol/body, med acid/tannin, sour cherry, some earthiness, med+length, runs slightly hot

Very nice. Rich with lots of light berry, including strong strawberry and cherry flavors. Great pop and pour.

Taste a sour note in this bottle that I had not found in others - opened up after 30 minutes and was more smooth.

Wonderful. Rich and fruity with a complex group of berry flavors.
