According to Sara, they make four barrels of this wine. Fruit is sourced from the Meteor vineyard in Coombsville (this is one of winemaker Andy Erickson's favorite places to source Cab). WTF?! I had a ‘12 a few weeks ago that kicked ass. This bottle could not have been different. I don’t think vintage is the variable. This is a different wine and not in a good way. Quick glass on open and into the decanter. Gave up little on open. Hint of fruit, mineral and cedar. 30 min — checked again, with swirling picked up burnt embers, black cherry, raspberry scents but the palate was flat with no sign of …

Impressive Napa Cab, decanted and drank within the hour. Big and bold with solid tannins but a smooth long finish.

previous score that I gave this wine was 94, this time a generous 88. Bottle variation, dumb phase, or just a bad bottle??

A good California cab. A bit pricey

Tasted @ The Wine House Napa Tasting event. Very smooth. Graceful like All Is Whale stated below. Smooth entry; warm mid-palate; and forgiving finish. I didn't expect this wine to be so expensive however, but it's all psychological anyway.

consistent over two days, big, powerful, rich long ,tsty. If you like big young napa cabs you will love this. An Andy Ericksen wine.
