This wine is interesting. It balances some very high-toned cherry on the nose with an amazing softness on the palate. Rich texture is fantastic. Bright acidity lingers on the finish. This would be a good starter-Norton wine. I love it.

Still a great example of the Norton grape. The wine comes accross with a striking softness. Soft lilac on the nose is beautiful Color is deep red starting to show just a bit of brown. The wine still has lots of fruit, however. Plum and sweet cherries are fantastic. (BTW, there is no labrusca effect on this wine whatsoever.) A really nice wine. My last bottle needs to be drunk in the next year or so.

Smokey with some light lambrusca on the nose. Currant, earthiness and reduction notes on the finish. Different flavors, but well balanced and unique. Would pair well with many cheeses and smoked meats/nuts. Very good for a 7 yr Norton!

Purchased at the vinery and cellared for just over a year. Good nose and color. Hints of tobacco and red fruit. Smooth finish that lasted longer than expected. Got better the next day.

I really like this wine. Big and jammy and smooth with just the slightlest hint of tartness or acidity. Plum with cherry juice. Nice on the nose. Very long finish. Not a traditional taste, but fantastic.
