Duo Syrah Colson Canyon Vineyard

Purchased through the Wine Cask Futures Program. This is about as young/purple I've seen a red. Not quite opaque in the glass. The nose gushes ripe, sweet, fresh blue/blackberries and chocolate, with hints of red meat and briny olives. The palate is dense, packed with flavor, fairly high in acid with lingering tannic bite.
