After a high tension Dauvissat 2008 Forest, this is more round. With aeration the things are getting precisely focussed: iodine, citrus, apple, high salinity. One of the top 5 producers in Chablis.

Fairly closed after opening, needed some aeration: this cannot be something else than Chablis: iodine, salt, some citrus. Very good concentration and length. Big difference between opening and an hour later. A great wine not yet fully in the spot, decant!

This was tasting very young. Didn’t blow me away but a great wine that isn’t in a hurry to go anywhere

A bit ripe, I can see another reviewer calling this somewhat advanced, but I think this is just disjoint as there's plenty of nuanced iodine and stone alongside the forward tropical fruit.

Iodine, ripe fruit: lemon and apple, high dry extract, excellent showing. Will go on for years.

On the nose lemon and iodine (used my Zalto Universal glass, which is terrific), on the palate again lemon, iodine as well as floral notes, high dry extract, powerful and long. Saline aftertaste. This is clearly grand cru, entering his drinking plateau.

A bit strange and disjointed. Needed lots of air, never became beautiful. Power and concentration rose during 6-12 hours.

Pale yellow with green reflections, not a lot of aroma on the nose, needs air, starts with some slight noisette notes (from the barrel), after it gets salty, iodine, sea breeze like, lemon, wonderful fresh but ripe Chablis grand cru with power and length. A bit early to open, maybe wait another 2-3 years, upward potential.

Drinking beautifully tonight almost immediately after opening with lots cool green and citrus fruit, subtle nori and nutmeg undertones, firm minerality and penetrating, uplifting acidity on the long finish. Quite delicious. Bessin continues to deliver really great wines at really fair prices.

Quite nice tonight with penetrating, cool green fruit, lots of oyster shell, some baking spice and nori notes and mouthwatering acidity on the long, satisfying finish.

Opening Season by the Mediterranean; 2/2/2018-2/4/2018 (Alicante - España) : Served by the glass from a bottle opened today. Contained minerality accompanied by lemon rind and dried fruit memories. Everything is well-accompanied by rich notes of butter but without wood plank. Content yet elegant saline element. Refreshing acidity, very long. Neither can we ask for much more. Servida por copas de una botella abierta hoy. Contenida mineralidad acompañada de corteza de limón y de recuerdos a frutos secos. Todo se …

excellent medium bodied Chablis with firm texture and a soft finish. This will age very well...

Quite a nice bottle of chablis. Nice flavors of lemon and salt. This has the stuffing to age. Will be interesting to revisit this wine in 5-10 years.

Grands Jours de Bourgogne 2014 Day 1: Chablis 3-17-13 : Nose is tight, palate is tight, but some honey and good acid and balance
