Brazin Zinfandel Old Vine Lodi

Very approachable and drinking well. Colour is developing with rim reasonably developed. Nose is great with bags of dark fruit, but with secondary spices and leather. The palate too exhibits good, balanced development with follow through on the fruit and spices - with maybe cacao and spice with some lovely black pepper too. Good fruit, but nicely held in check by soft tannins and medium acidity.

I always like to have one of these in my cellar. Full body, red cherry, blackberry, red plum, black cherry, raspberry, black plum, pepper, mocha, coconut, vanilla, chocolate, raisin, fig, caramel. Off-Dry sweetness, medium - acidity, medium - tannins, high alcohol. High complexity, medium + finish. Medium + aroma intensity. Always a fan fave!

Deep ruby. Lots of dark fruits on the nose. Quite rich, well balanced. Dark fruits (plums particularly), cinnamon, spice palate. Good value Zinfandel.
