Smooth. Cherry cola, black pepper and a hint of bell pepper on the nose. Chocolate and cherry on the palate. Medium body with Mellow tannins. Past it’s prime but still drinkable.

Still a very good full body, fruity powerful wine. Harmonious and warm.

This is a bold wine. It has a very fruity nose with nice blueberry and violet and dark plum aromas. The palate has a big, fruity filling quality. It has an unusual smooth texture with blueberry jam, dark chocolate and tobacco notes. It is rich powerful and long displaying great structure and elegant finish. One of my absolute favorite mouthwatering syrah wines.

- Brick color with slow forming legs. It's in total harmony with a medium/full body. Round texture with a long finish - Beautiful mouthfeel, lovely glycerine like texture. Smooth as silk. Oodles of dark fruit. Long finish. Wish we had more than one left.

A little tight initially, but after an hour showing nice blueberry and blackberry aromas, a silky mouthfeel and fine balance. Good stuff indeed, but lacking that extra edge today.

Took just over 1 houur to open up, initially very tight and not giving out much, towards the end of dinner some 2 hours later, very pleasant with balanced fruit/mnerals and a hint of floral. medium to full bodied and soft tannins. A very fine effort indeed.

Liked the wine. A lot of taste, yet not much tannins.
