Wonderfully light bodied but super flavorful and great balance. Lots of red berry fruits and a light smokey-juicy quality. Drinks great now, drink soon in my opinion. This wine has really improved since release.

-- decanted 1.5 hrs. before initial taste -- -- tasted non-blind over 1 hr. -- NOSE: light; mj stems; strawberry; a touch floral; a bit stemmy; medium expressiveness. BODY: light rose color of light depth; light bodied. TASTE: medium-light sweet red fruit -- strawberry -- arm red fruits; very light -- oddly light -- should be treated like a robust rose. Drink Now.

Translucent as mentioned on another note. Could easily go for a dark hued rosé by its look. The spice and dried red berries tell you it is actually Grenache. Pretty good.

Surprisingly translucent in appearance. Fragrant aromatics, perfumed, a touch woody, with cherries, strawberries, and rose petals. Full bodied, nicely structured, very refreshing, with a streak of minerality atop a bed of black tea tannin. Picks up ash on the spicy finish. Nice persistence.

A very beguiling and open table wine, brightly red-fruited, strawberry-grapey, juicy, and refreshing. Extroverted, lip-smacking character, high toned aromatics, red licorice with some pepper spice on the finish. The 14% abv does not show with all that up front fruit. Drink now and over the next 2-3 years.

From a 187. Appearance: Clear, pale ruby. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity with developing aromas of strawberry patch, tomato leaf, hibiscus, and blood orange. Palate: Dry, medium acid, medium tannin, medium+ intensity, medium body, 14.0% abv with flavors of ripe strawberry, cranberry, and tomato leaf with a medium+ finish. Showing excellent intensity and length in its youth. Enjoy now or over next 2-4 years.

Ready to drink now and I do not believe this has the fruit to go long haul, but should drink well for 2 or 3 years at least. The Tablas Creek staff think this will go longer, but we shall see. I had half; drank over 1 night. Vvv

Medium in body, low tanins, medium alcohol, pale in color such that one might think it was a dark rose. Cranberry, unripe strawberry, cherry on palate. Pleasant but did not blow me away.

Not a Grenache fan but this was pretty good, light color, not much bouquet, spicy, good acid, interesting flavors, drank with pork fried rice, veggie dumplings, and chicken with Chinese veggies, 14.0%abv, interestingly the wine completely faded an hour after opening, probably would not drink again.
