Nice nose of raspberry/cherry, with some subtle wet earth and mushrooms. More cherry on the palate, more like cherry candy, with some nice acidity, woody herbs. The cherry becomes a bit more tart with air, and the palate a bit more complex.

Really lovely, amazing wine. A bit restrained on the nose, with notes of chocolate, raspberries. Nice earth tones, pine, moss, hints of mushrooms, with some subtle tannins. This has that je ne said quoi of burgundy. Really nice bottle. Curious to see it in another few years.

This wine from the get go was medium ruby with just the slightest browning of the edges. Notes of complex earth, sous bois, red fruits, raw meat jumped from the glass. On the palate, pure silk, red fruit, hint of licorice, soy and saline. Great bright edgy finish, that went so well with the sweetbreads. …

Nice smooth with tastes of cherries and strawberries. Went nicely with stuffed pork chops
