Random wine tasting night out (Materia Prima) : Very big in the nose, nice stone fruit, lime, tropical fruit, lemon, lemon leaves, buttery, highly extracted, ripe tropical fruit, peal and apricot In the palate, the wine shows big character, extrovert, lime, oaky frame, nutty, walnut, a bit mineral, leaner than expected, high acidity, medium finish. Way too young as it is. Needs time, better in the nose too

Spanish white wine from Rías Baixas: Albariño 70 %, Caiño 22 % and Loureiro 8 %. Aged for five months in small barrels and seven months in the large vats. 13 % alcohol. Medium golden/greenish color. Delicious aromas of pineapple, pear, lemon, butter, vanilla and minerals. Strong flavors of lemon, lime, green apple and butter. Minerality in the background. Dry. Full body. Medium acidity. A bit unbalanced. Very good structure. Some complexity. Short finish with lime. Excellent on the nose. …
