Bunan, Moulin Costes Rose, Bandol

Uncorked for 3 hours before drinking. On the nose, bramble fruit is dominant, reminiscent of a new world, heavily extracted Pinot Noir. On the tongue, blackberry and underripe raspberry are confirmed in the initial sip, but are quickly replaced by minerality and savory flavors which dominate most of the finish (olives, salinity, perhaps cured meats). With more air, the fruit seems more perceivable and the savory notes retreat. Medium bodied with moderate alcohol, moderate complexity. Overall, quite enjoyable.

Some strange chemical smell. It tastes okay: Fresh, some bitters and lemon acidity.

Cantaloupe and stony aroma, likewise on the palate with a savory mid palate with some pithy edges. Alcohol shows at times. Big, yet solid Bandol

Upon first swirl smells like plastic and lawn care. But its also a tank sample so gotta give some room. Heavy and kinda crunchy at the same time. Hard edged finish.
