Good balance of acid and fruit. Citrus notes with grapefruit and pineapple. Very light oak and butter, more crisp than most of Napa Chardonnays. Very long, bright, pleasing finish.

Having this with Crawfish Etouffe on Sunday night after Saints Win the NFC Championship Night before my BDay. Love this wine. Full body!

Xlnt CA Chardonnay. Pineapple, floral. Appropriate amount of bright butter n oak. A bit overpriced at $36.

Enjoyable but too one dimensional. Tropical/sweet. Cloying. Not worth the $30 price tag.

Good richness that I enjoyed, but coming across as too buttery, too tropical.

Winebar [6 Reds & 6 Whites] for 10/27/17 (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA) : 100% barrel fermented & Carneros (64% Napa, 36% Sonoma) fruit; 14.5% ABV N: Toasty, vanilla P: Med, poss MF, body; RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish OAK/frt (with a BIT of butter?) NICELY balanced by an acidity which evolves through the LONG, ult almost creamy swt finish. Should do VERY well with cream sauced entrees. For now & through '19. Gold @ Dan Berger's '17 Int'l …

Big and creamy but not as big and creamy as it once was is my impression.

Bunch of Samples : Rich yellow color. Aromas of almond paste, whipped honey, buttercream, but also peaches and pears drizzled with lime. On the palate, this is bold but balanced, creamy but moderate acidity. Bruised apple, peach, apricot, rich fruit but stays fresh. Pretty yellow flowers, clover, honeysuckle, lemon curd, notes of peanut brittle and buttercream are mixed together well. A Chardonnay that should please many a palate, fermented and aged in 1/3 new French oak.
