Dark red color, still has plenty of fruit on the nose. Full body with lighter tannins. Delicious!

Another first note for CT A wine in good condition but the middle end and finish really does just fade away and doesn’t have a bite and conclusion you would want.

Had this 2 years ago and it was nearly identical today. Medium bodied, hints of tobacco, plum, blackberry, huckleberry.

Friend brought a bottle to share with dinner. Excellent structure , balance, fruit and finish. Equally good or better day 2.

Dark purple. Nice nose, but not very assertive - dark fruits and hints of tobacco and wet leaves. Dark fruits on the palate. Medium body, but only a so-so finish. Has all the characteristics of a big boy cabernet, but falls a little short on the nose and the finish. Holding up quite well - no hurry. Nice $50 to $60 Napa cabernet. Since it's actually from Sonoma and costs way less, it's a certified steal.

Classic Sonoma Cab expression. It's carrying along just find. Well balance in terms of acid and tannin. Won't make you forget the more powerful wines but a real nice aged Cab from a bygone era.

Should have given more time to let open up. Still very nice with porterhouse steaks.

Nice deep crimson color, the kind of nose that makes me almost sad to drink it - really yummy. Very smooth and balanced and drinking well now. Enjoyed with beef and asparagus.

Smells fresh, but initially tastes short and musty. Some red fruits, decent length but abbreviated. Balanced. Then with about 15 minutes of air this gains body and depth. The musty note disappears, replaced by dark fruits, saturated flavors, and medium length on the palate.

Needs more time in bottle, with several hours air opened. Very well made, lovely wine.

Big grape profile on initial nose. Fair legs, nothing dramatic. Good full balance on the nose. Nice finesse to the wine with good but not remarkable finish. Not a strong powerful cab more of a laid back balanced cab, Had with roasted Chicken & zucchini wrapped in prosciutto & went well.

Very nicely balanced at this stage. Currants, with traces of cedar and leather. Definitely not a vanilla latte from Napa. Medium body and a more-than-respectable finish. However, it was extremely closed and didn't reveal much on the nose until it had been open for about 90 minutes. If I had any more (which I don't), I'd probably decant it.

clear deep garnet with rim browning . cassis, baked plum pie, cocoa . medium acids, low tannins plum, leather short acidic finish .

Soft leather color. Good full berry nose. Fair legs. Flavor of licorice, plums w/fair backbone. Held well in the mouth. Not a big burly cab, more of a softer cab profile. Held up well w/Steak on the grill.

In a really solid spot right now. took about an hour to smooth out the rough edges. Red fruit / touch of cedar / asphault / leather on the nose. Medium bodied cab. Definitely indicative of being from Sonoma and not Napa. fans of full throttle glop will not like this wine. I thought it was really well done if not spectacular. red fruit on the palate, nice acidity with tannins integrating well. Solid wine. nothing amazing, but really good.

Drinking fabulously well. Perfection in aging, wonderful, smooth fruit. Elegant with beef tenderloin.

Good mellow berry flavors. Nothing bad about this wine, but it lacked structure. Low acidity makes it easy to drink, but lacks depth and finish.

Past prime. Cloves and cherry but a definite bite due to the age.

A pleasant well-made wine, though a bit simple and showed a little too much sweetness for my tastes. It did have a little bit of structure, so it might improve with a year or two in bottle.

Opened a magnum today and it went relatively quickly. More or less pleasant. Never going to be a standout wine, perhaps beginning to wane. Chocolate and plums. Quaffable but no QPR particularly given the recommended hold period. Bottom line, a reasonably decent wine to drink, but not one to seek out.

Lovely. Drank July 2008 and kept very well. Good color, smooth, classic cab.

Still very full bodied and rich. Could go another 3-5 years. Dense fruit, mocha notes and a touch of mint on the aftertaster. My first Hafner ever, a good bottle
