Floral nose, with more red fruit than black. Better acidity than the Guignier I just tried, and better persistence on the finish - both my wife and I preferred this wine tonight.

Served by the glass. New winemaker, son of Georges Descombes. Very simple wine with aromas of blood oranges on the nose and a mouth with an aqueous texture and no length at all through the throat. Unbalanced in terms of acidity and persistence. Totally dispensable. Servido por copas. Nuevo elaborador, hijo de Georges Descombes. Muy simple con aromas a naranjas sanguinas e nariz y una boca de textura acuosa y nulo recorrido por la garganta. Desequilibrado en cuando a acidez …

The nose on this is quite nice: definitely Gamay profile: sweet fruit, gamey, herbal, crunchy. The palate is like this to some degree, but the acid is somewhat shrill as the palate progresses. There is some nice fruit and game, but the acid comes on, some of it with a citric component, some not, and pushes the other aspects aside. This stays through the finish. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 4/6, Finish - 3.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 …

Open 24hrs - it's a bit cold from the fridge. Man, I love the nose on this wine. It's got joyous and crunchy red fruit (tart cherry and pomegranate), and serious minerality, but there is a really heady game and herbal aspect that gives the fruit and overall nose an almost creamy texture, while still having a lot of crunch. The palate is more tart: tart cherry and pomegranate, lots of herbs and game, with some sharp stoniness. The finish …

This bottle was extremely young. Lots of mercaptans on the nose--very barnyard-y. Underneath was great red fruits and a streak of acid. Opened up considerably on day 2. This should be an awesome bottle in a couple of years, but no hurry to drink them!

Very good stuff. Medium color, body, and intensity but very full of character. Stone and barnyard, some fresh green herb scents along with the juicy red gamay fruit. Bottle disappeared pretty quickly. Would buy again.

I like these 2014 Bojos. The nose on this is light and pure, but there's a clear tension from structure underneath. The fruit is bright red and brambly: tart cherry, a bit of wild strawberry and some cranberry. Some hints of darker fruit lurking. Supporting the fruit are minerals, a significant dirt/earth component. roses, and just a touch of red spice. The nose has excellent clarity, is nicely linear, and there is a perfume hiding around the corner. The palate …
