A private lunch (Restaurant Wils *, Amsterdam, NL) : A whopping 51 months on the fine lees. Wonderful salinity and minerality, clean and pure and bright, ripe grapes, soft and silky texture, quite ripe and a bit spicy on the finish.

By the glass. Much more mineral on the nose than its pairs where it all combines with fresh fruit but without complexity. Austere and a little head-square. There is no soul nor does it transmit a feeling of terroir in the mouth. Ample but not exuberant. I wonder who would want to keep time by letting bottles like this age much more. Por copas. Mørk strågul/gylden. Moden frukt, litt urter, frisk på duft. God syre, middels fylde, moden frukt med litt tropisk preg. Middels lang. God til kamskjellpasta.
