This was an interesting, fruit-forward Barolo. Notes of leather, raspberry, minerals, and spices. Well-balanced and mature. Seems like it might offer a little more in the future, but drinking well now.

Terroir a Confronto: Barolo & Barbaresco 2004 (Alba, Italy) : Garnet, clear. Dumb nose – never opened up over two hours. On palate, sweet sensation, lowish acidity, not so long or complex. Not bad but not much to it.
