Upon first opening, it seemed to be mostly tart cranberry. Left the bottle in the cellar for 2 days, and opened beautifully - dark cherry and earth on the nose, and more balanced acidity in the mouth with cherry and cranberry mixed along with forest floor.

2nd of four bottles. This one more expressive than the first. Starting to show more delicate umami flavors. Subtle and elegant. Perhaps the last one was in a dumb phase.

Excellent QPR. Light to medium weight smooth and balanced with good fruit. Was more open on night 2, allow some air

If I had to choose a single word to describe this wine it would be "mild." It was verrry reserved immediately after being opened. Didn't really open up for about 45 mins. Once it warmed up a bit it was very nice, exhibiting some delicate pinot umami character and purple fruit. Med(-) acidity and light, well integrated tannin. Should age well for at least another four years. Not a big wine by any stretch. Serve at 65°F.

Dark ruby, and perhaps a bit cloudy. Rather rich and ripe — but not overdone. Slightly chewy. Showing a pleasant and bare touch of funk. Decent acidity, keeping it lively.
