Les Lunes Wine Pinot Noir Brueske Vineyard

Red fruit, cherry, raspberry, forest floor. It was a little tart, so maybe it needed more time?

Raspberry, sour cherry, red candy, forest floor and some mushrooms.

Fairly strong nose, sour red candy aromas and forest floor. Expresses that signature forest floor and mushroom sort of thing, but that palate is dominated by sour raspberry. A funky note on the finish, but all around pretty refreshing.

Incredible for its ebullient bouquet of fresh red fruits in the registers (but not with the specificity) of strawberry and ripe raspberry and it's spacious midpalate of echoing and perfectly-married fruit and cavernous minerality. But the controversial finish was off for this taster, suffering possibly from the risks of natural wine making, and I fear the problems would only amplify in the bottle over time. Still, excellent. Drink now - 2020.
