It doesn't happen often, but when I find it, life just got a little bit better...the outstanding ten buck bottle. Terrific. Interesting in that deja vu sort of way. This wine tastes like all my favorite California Syrahs in one bottle. Berrys galore but not quite juicy or sweet. There's spice and pepper, earth and a little gamey.

Beautiful purple hue rimming a dark center in the glass. Charred nose and only a bit of dark fruit showing. Then the palate, BAMM!, blackberry, clove white pepper, and then the mourvedre shows on the backend with some brush. Very chewy. Nice finish.
