drank over three nights. opened ~30 minutes prior to tasting first night and was rewarded with hint of fruit and smooth wine with meal. Second night was right out of the bottle and was very nice indeed. Still hint of fruit up front with smooth finish.

drank over two nights; was much better than previous bottle. poured about 30 minutes before drinking the first night. was better the second night with slight hint of fruit and tanins still but great with tomato sauce pasta.

opened about 30 minutes prior to drinking with beef burgundy dish. still seemed a little too strong at the finish. maybe try again next year.

Just popped and poured - should have decanted this was throwing lots of sediment. For a $12 wine this was full of interest. Good dark colour, slightly smokey, meaty currant and dark plum nose, hints of lead. Pretty complex for a "cheap" bordeaux. Tasty with nicely balanced acidity and soft dry tannins, good blackcurrant and plum fruit flavours. Excellent value.

Just picked up from Garagiste. Black curranty, not oaked, ripe, CS/CF dominant, balanced, nice solid basic Bordeaux. Not sure about aging. Worth the $12 I paid. Incidentally, the 01 Prestige I had recently absolutely rocked...a big step up from this wine.
