red/ purple colour a little fading at the rim but looking very young Powerful nose, plums, and spices, almost like a sloe gin, violets, clean, no off flavours. Medium body, nice refreshing fruit, touch of toffee, very little tannin, moderate alcohol 13.5% ABV Good wine for the price £12, very Rhone-like.
