Some initial reduction that gradually gave way to tea and honeyed-mead notes on both the nose and palate. The fruit showed a riper profile and lower acidity than expected, with some Japanese melon notes. As usual with this producer, enjoyed the layered and distinctive texture. A wine that was full of character, became more expressive with air and the last glass was the best.
