This was fantastic both on its own and with smoked beef ribs. Excellent and wish I had more.

Light, balanced, with secondary characteristics already, and very nice to drink. Finally found another Zin producer who makes Zin in this style. Just my style...fantastic.

14.8% alcohol. Bright transparent ruby. Expressive floral and red fruit aromas. The overriding plate impression is strawberry-rhubarb, with a dollop of bright raspberry. Well balanced, energetic and pretty. Lingering aftertaste. This wine is savory and has grip! An image breaker, this Amador wine is lovely, nuanced, food-friendly and feminine. Decanted 2 hrs. ahead. Medium-light ruby color, lighter than one might expect for Amador zin. Very nice nose of deep hard spices: cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, along with plums and black cherries, but the spices lead as is often the case with well-made old-vine Amador zin. Not full-bodied on the palate, rather pleasingly medium; it's light on its feet.
