Somewhat muted nose, lighter garnet in color, darker fruits, citrus and pepper on the nose. Medium-bodied with blueberries, blackberries, a bit of citrus, sage, cinnamon and white pepper. Medium finish w/smooth tannins and enough acid to keep it lively.

For such a light bodied wine this is remarkably robust, able to stand up to spicey food without any loss of flavour Excellent value

Minimal hot vanilla nose. Very well balanced with solid fruit and nice acid chalk and dry mineral tannin.

This was lighter than expected, but had a really nice zippy finish. Very clean and pure fruit, sweet enough, just not very concentrated (good for a US wine) which makes it a really nice food wine. Very well balanced. I was not expecting too much given the price, but this was excellent. Can see this working well slightly chilled on the deck or with dinner.

Red currant and cinnamon. Lacks garrigue, pepper, graphite and chalk. Tastes New World to me, would not confuse with Gigondas or Vacqueyras (I hope).

Nicely balanced: red spice lingers with a touch of red berry acid. Much more enjoyable with cheese than with meat Decanted two hours, lightly cooled
