Wow! We had this tonight and loved it from the get go with filets and baked potatoes. We love this profile - red/black fruit, pencil/gravel along with tannins and finish! Wow. Pretty unique vs the standard Napa fare. The Calistoga/North Napa terroir really comes thru. Very expressive in a sultry way. Smooth as silk and a finish that lasts 90 seconds. Have another that ill let sit a couple more years but anxious to see how this gem evolves.

Decanted for about an hour. It could have gone longer, but still great! I am happy I have a few more bottle to try in the future. Definitely will be great in 2025-2028. Very well balanced wine.

Phenomenal blue and black fruits on the nose and palate. Thick and masculine. Hints of vanilla, cedar, tobacco, leather and dark cocoa. Lifting acidity, Incredible strength and strong tannic backbone. This is a baby and will get even better with some bottle time! Cheers! 🍷

If you like typical Napa Cab, this is it for you. Very fruit forward, very bold, with fruit to carry you from start to finish. Tannins are more fine than other 18s i have tasted, which is a good thing for this wine. Maybe I am not a fan of Calistoga terrior, but it didn't impress me as much as Rutherford or oakville ones.
