This was one of the better Cabs I've had. A little yeast and cherry on the nose, smooth dark fruit on the palate. Good finish (medium), worked well with roast beef, gravy and mashed potatoes.

That was fun we tried this with the 05 and 06, double blind. We were pretty sure this was the 04, the tannins were short enough and the 06 and 05 showed itself more specifically. Slight mineral taste upfront. Overall drank better than last bottle. Enjoy now.

Napa Valley Vintner's Big Nightlife Napa Valley Magnum Tasting Party (San Francisco, CA) : Good value Napa Cab ($30). Aromas/flavors of blackberry, currant, black cherry, oak, vanilla and mocha. Well integrated tannins deliver a lush mouthfeel for the price. Nice lingering finish.
