Fruity Chard...stone fruit on the front end with a crisp mineral finish.

Our experience with this wine was very good, good, mediorcer back to good and great. Bottle variation, shut down, not really sure. I need to buy the current vintage though.

2013 vintage

Paler in color than the 2013; also a less prominent nose. A little cleaner on the palate, but with the same honey, apple, and oak flavors. Clean finish. Just a bit too fruity and soft for my taste, but an excellent value in its price range. Would drink soon.

2014 vintage

Still good and quite vibrant. That being said, I wouldn't keep this much longer. Medium golden color; on the nose I get apple, oak, and honey. This carries over to the palate; has a soft, inviting mouthfeel, assertive taste profile, and finishes very nicely. A bit too buttery for my taste, but it isn't bad at all. Nothing to write home about, but solid and tasty.

I remember this being much better. It is either shut down or just past its prime. Seeing as how it is a 2013, I would say past its prime, but we just had a 2013 chard by another OR winemaker that was stellar so I am just not sure. It is ok, but I would not age any longer. We have one more bottle that I will put in the que to drink soon.

Light golden in color. Oak driven aromatics of vanilla and caramel, with butter, white flowers, pineapple, and yellow apple. Full body, medium acid and finish, a little hollow in the middle, and flavors largely mirroring the nose. It's a little manipulated, but not a bad supermarket purchase for vacation sipping to the sunset.

It's tough not to enjoy this wine, great for the transition from summer to fall. Notes of apple and beeswax on the nose. Smells sweeter than it is. Great to drink - sightly tart lemon notes to start, adding layers of honey, nectarine, green apple and wet stone through the finish. Moderate acidity, pleasant and easy drinking. Definitely a few years ahead of it but why wait, it's great now - enjoy it!

Sharp mid-gold; light floral, peachy nose; light-mid body; soft acids; decent flavor. Party sipping wine.

Meh. Flabby. There is some nice dough-like characteristics, but a slight alcohol burn, some green olive and a general flatness to the wine. Can get better cheap chards.

Lovely but light nose. Nice initially with lovely red and green apple, melon, vanilla and light wood overtones but simply kept getting better as it warmed up. At room temperature it was approaching spectacular. Probably one to three years from peak but drinking beautifully, especially at room temperature.

Brght and fresh. Fresh citrus, sharp acidity that makes your mouth water. Crisp finish that lingers.

Nice, approachable Chardonnay. Easy and fresh, with notes of lemon peel and nectarine on the nose. There's a bit of burnt vanilla in there too, still sweet but reminds me of slightly over cooked pastries - nice balance to the citrus and orchard fruit. Similarly bright across the palate with a slight herbal note at the finish. Doesn't linger long but still very tasty.

Nice Oregon chard. Plenty of tropical and citrus fruit. Some cream/butter, and toasted nuts. Lively acidity.

Pineapple and slight hint of lemon on the nose. Medium-bodied. Creamy without being heavy because of the lifting acidity. It's as if 50% of the wine was steel fermented and the other 50% was barrel fermented. My wife and I enjoyed this.

From sustainably farmed vineyards in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA, the 2013 North Valley Chardonnay spends two to three months on mostly used French oak, with 77% of the blend going through malolactic fermentation. On the nose, an elegant tempo—smokiness gives way to classic notes of orchard fruit, lemon tart and marzipan. It's nicely balanced, with crisp acidity, moderate weight and a beautifully delineated mineral undercurrent. There's a subtle, rather genial hint of gingersnap on the finish. 13.4% ABV
