Charme de Cos Labory, Saint-Estephe

This is a developing wine, with the nose being quite intense. The nose consists of liquorice, cranberry, plum and cherry. Oak notes of vanilla, smoke, nutmeg and obviously chocolate. Tertiary hints of forest floor, meaty and tobacco. The tannins are quite harsh here, with medium+ tannins, together with medium acidity. The rest is medium too, the intensity, body and finish. Good quality and not suitable for further ageing, or at least only up to 2020.
