PNP. Deep dark ruby maroon color. Dried fig, oregano, chalk, cocoa and subtle charred brisket on the nose. Smooth, dusty, herbaceous palate. Minimal tannins on the medium finish that lingers on the palate, but not in the throat. This is certainly past its prime. The whole set of Appellations blends seem to be made to drink young.
