Casa Crebar Carménère

This wine presented pale slight yellow color. Popped and poured slightly chilled. Solid grass with a slight hint of citrus on the nose. Flavor was surprisingly pleasant with some pear and passion fruit and a nice backsplash of lemon. Nicely balance with a nice creamy almost vanilla twist on the finish. At less than $10 per bottle I really recommend this to anyone in the Chardonnay rut.
