Opaque purple colour. Youthful, blackberry, black cherry, olive and smoky herb nose. Ripe and viscous palate with a savoury salinity, supple tannins, and marked acidity; medium-bodied with good length and focus on the finish. It should keep well for a decade plus; I look forward to a mid-term (3-5 years) re-assessment. 4/5

Intense, blackberry fruit, tar, animal, and sap nose. Dark flavours with artful acid balance that cancels all impression of the residual sugar; long, focused, fresh finish. 4.5/5

Cherries and leather on the nose. Tons of dark cherry flavors, light tannins and a bit smokey. A great selection.

Appealing. this is big and dark. fruity and fresh balanced with some wood spice and enough tannic grip. Grapey and a touch sweet. comes off as quite young still.

Not the best Baco Noir from the Region (as compared to Gretzky for example) but still a great wine for the price. Flavor is light to start, fruit forward. This isn’t as bold as some other Bacos I’ve tried and enjoyed.

Full, bright ruby colour. Blueberry jam, smoked meat, coffee, licorice, chocolate and pepper on the nose. Very ripe fruit flavours with a vibrant, refreshing acidity; dry but sweet-centred with a youthful, fruity/toasty finish. 4/5

Like smelling a bowl of ripe black cherries. Soft round fruit and tannins. Some gentle smokiness. A wine for the everything but Baco disbeliever.
