Surprisingly open, pop and poured. Slight oxidative funk but only adds charm, strong yet elegant. Yellow fruits, subtle yeasty reduction that cuts through the fruit alongside a keen line of acidity. More backward on the palate at first but didn’t took long to integrate. The duality of reduction and oxidation brings plenty of power and a textural, long finish. Simply great.

At Osteria Le Logge. Quite forward for a young Chablis with seashell, citrus, stone fruit and white flowers. Good ripeness to balance out the Chablis minerality. 91-92

At Osteria le Logge. Holy. Fucking. Shit. The most complete and perfect Chablis I’ve had since ??? Oceanic and oyster shell-y with toasted hazelnuts and a bracing powdered citrus. That Chablis flavor you only get in Dauvissat and Raveneau (and a bit in Tribut). Fantastic but not enamel gripping acidity. Finish goes on. Of course it’s young but how can I say no to this on a wine list for only 125EU.
