Time to drink this. I don't think it will gain anything with further aging. Initially tight, but opened up nicely.

Clear ruby color with a tinge of bricking on the edge, modest aromas of wet cedar forest. Black sour cherry and blackberry with nice brightening acidity. A very nice pleasant drink, but definitely peaked out, drink now.

Rust colored. Citrus on the nose. Smooth across the palate. Very pleasant Pinot.

Complex acid driven, medium weight pinot noir. Medium to lightly bodied red in the glass, good clear rim with limited rust. Aromatic cherry, spice and earth on the nose. Fresh cherries, and raspberry on the palate, a hint of earth and burgundian spice come together to complete fresh, well balanced mineral driven profile. A bit short on the finish, and perhaps lacking a bit of flesh, but I liked it and thought it reminiscent of a decent effort from Savigny.

Nice "Burgundian style" pinot. Reticent black cherry with a streak of minerality and a lingering finish of nutmeg and plum.

Nice nose, mostly oak, some funk. Fruit is light on the palette, mushrooms and forest floor and dark fruits, but lacking in complexity and it flatlines completely though the mid palette and finish. Significantly overpriced at current levels. $52 a bottle? Glad I didn't pay that and would not repurchase.

Tasted at winery. "Dustier" terroir style. "round" minerality. Almost a petroleum note at times like good Rieslings. Slightly "bubble soap" at times too... I really don't get this wine. Finish is long, but could use more acid.

Very pretty color in a burgundian way. Nice nose with light cherry and a little mushroom right up front. Light style and easy on the palette. Goes down smooth. Well balanced. A little pricey at $50, not an every day,but a nice wine

Inviting light nose of ripe red cherries, pine forest, earth and herbs. Wonderful mix of flavors including red cherry, some baking spices, forest floor, pine needle, and a hint of green pepper. Light bodied and delicious at 13% alcohol. This hit the spot with roasted chicken, mashed potatoes and stuffing. Gone in a flash.

Tasted at Carlton Winemaker's Studio. Nice balanced, sweet dark fruit notes. Ribbon Ridge fruit, which explains a lot.

At the winery tasting room: In the glass: Light ruby, light legs. On the nose: Tart cherries & raspberries, tiny bit of ripe bananas, spice. In the mouth: Light/med mouth feel, tart cherries on the tongue, light tannin grip, not much finish, but reasonably concentrated. Was told this was a blend of 11 different grapes. Nice, liked it. Retail $38, Liked their selections enough to join the club and get 25% OFF :D
