It's funny how cool climate zin's get a bit of pinotness. This actually tasted very similar to a 2003 Rochioli we had a few days ago, though less concentrated and some black pepper. PnP, nose of red fruits and vanilla. Red fruits, vanilla, with a nice oak frame, but more ephemeral than most Zin and light footed (even at 15.6% ETOH).
