No idea where I got this. Pnp for a weekday dinner. Really not too bad, no sense of place, but a nice red table wine.

My last bottle of this and not something I would revisit. A lot better bottles for my taste at the $20 price range than this. Daou and CS being a couple.

Decanted over 30 minutes. Really nice nose, graphite, leather, pencil shavings. On the palate it really is smooth and drinks well above it price point. The tannins are very nicely integrated, acidity has mellowed out. Medium finish. After taking 1 ship I was like "woah, what is this? This is actually pretty good". It is 9 years old at this point, feels and tastes very well made and integrated. Really glad I had this and found it. Paired with a …

A Napa cab that actually swings at a pretty decent QPR (for a change). Jammy dark fruit and the tannins are soft. I would drink up now as there is a hint of decline on the finish.

This begins with a heavy graphite and a light vegetable note both of which continue in tasting. While it is good, it is acidic but finishes well. Think it is at a peak and should be opened within a year or so.

Nothing special. A daily drinker kind of wine that is probably a bit past it's prime. Would drink earlier rather than later.

Solid California Cab for $25. Tart berries with a hint of vanilla on the palate. Fresh fruit after 7 years. At peak IMO. Drink up and enjoy !

Nice California Cabernet, but nothing exceptional. The nose is subtle dark fruit. Mouth feel is light, thin. Smooth, dark fruit with some mid palate tannins. Drink now. I doubt this will improve with time.

This wine was nothing special. Strong legs. There wasn't much on the nose, maybe a bit of black cherry. The palate was primarily acidic, citrus, and hints of tobacco. A background of plum and cocoa, but nothing really comes forward. Medium length finish. Enjoyed with prime rib roast. Overpriced, but received as a gift. Would not buy for myself.

Not worth the coin IMO, pretty simple smooth cab. Starts off somewhat enjoyably with full fruit, but then just fades away to nothing special.

Typical California cab. Nothing to see here, move along. Oh, but have a glass on your way out.

Dark red with aromas and flavors of dark fruit, cherries and a little oak. It was medium bodied, dry and very smooth. The after taste was dry and lingering with cherry flavors.

Au restaurant, pas de notes formelles. Rubis foncé, nez sur les arômes de fruits noirs, en bouche le vin est de constitution moyenne, avec une belle allonge. Pas mou grâce à son acidité. Tiendra quelques années.

Classic Napa Cab, in a good way. 76% cab, and the other bordeaux-varietals make up the rest. Good cabernet fruit, oak well handled, and you have a wine that turns out to be more complex than you might expect. Good show!

APPEARANCE: Dark red AROMA: Currants and blackberries. Hints of cedar TASTE: Tannins were a bit firm, but smoothed out with some time. Enjoyable to drink, but it wasn't memorable

Granato intenso. Al naso cacao, cedro, ribes, menta, carne arrosto, scorza d’arancia, violetta, chiodo di garofano, tabacco dolce. Bocca fin troppo intensa, cede qualcosa a metà assaggio; discreta la persistenza

Shared a bottle with some friends. Our assessment has not improved since the last bottle consumed in late May. A fair bottle at a fair price, but certainly no "Wow" factor here. Nose is promising, color deep purple with long legs. Medium finish.

This was brought to a 6 bottle wine tasting against other cabs. It came in 3rd. We currently have a bottle cellared that we were planning on consuming in a year. We were disappointed with how poorly it fared and can't see it improving much. It was just okay.

This was an amazingly pleasing Napa Cab at this price point. Usual Cab purple, nose was berries and wood. Nose was fruit galore. Taste was fruity, with some minerality and medium, but satisfying finish and medium tannins, which is great at this price. This is at its peak and will not cellar well, from here on out. Drink now. Great on its own, but good with grilled meats. Great quality to price ratio. Good vintage year helped out the 2007 …

Friends of Black Pearl Chamber Orchestra Wine Tasting (Philadelphia, PA) : Classic Napa Cab profile. Deep garnet color. Full nose of cassis, chocolate, and oak with a hint of bell pepper underneath. Firm tannins... could have used a good decanting, but the flavors still cam through. Good QPR at $18 and should have a few years life in it.

2007 was a great year for Napa Valley. I enjoyed this wine. It grew on me in the glass and opened new dimensions and time passed. Blackberry and currants with smoke and tobacco finish.
