No notes taken. Popped, decanted and poured. This one was not my ideal cup of tea. Some black and red fruits but light body, short length, and there were times on nose and mouth where soap (!) showed up. My friend liked it better than the more acidic Ital Carmenere I had (Campo Boro - a TOP Carmenere to me), but I let him kill it and I hit the Campo. For food or mixing. 84 pts.

Light color typical for Nebbiolo. Not as light as expected though with long spicey aftertaste. Best with meat.

Surprisingly good with depth and flavor. Nose redolent of dried cherry and oak. Subtle blackfruit on the palate and round finish. Delicious with a meal of savory pasta and wood oven roasted branzino.
