Giovanni Manzone Barolo Riserva Le Gramolere

Oxidized.

A small gaggle of wines with the Seattle Wine Group (Amaroso Room - Wine Storage Bellevue) : Shy nose of classic Barolo tar and rose petal perfume. Palate was balanced, fairly seamless combination of red fruits, cedar, floral, earthy and tarry notes. Refined and resolved, but a bit understated. Still, no complaints

Seems to be some bottle variation, but this is 45 minutes out of the bottle and although has some life to it, it seems thin with a tart finish. Good enough, and fine with food, but not one to look forward to. Not sure if it had better days, but nothing more than a good wine. B-

Lean, tart finish. Nice nose but seems past it's prime. A bit better with some air. Next bottle was better. B-

I belive that this one has gone out of its windue, or It might be a little flawed, but I am afraid it's past due
