Delicious wine. Good fruit - dark fruit plus raspberries and cherry - with some spice and pepper on the finish. Not jammy or over-extracted and hid its 15% alcohol quite well. Best with 3 meat French bread pizza.

I liked this better than I did six months ago. Similar aroma and taste - brambly nose, darker fruit on the palate. Vanilla, clove, cherry cola, pepper. Benefitted from two hours of air. Fairly nice balance (maybe a tad acidic) and finish. Very nice drink. (1 glass okay; 2 caused headache)

Big underbrush, sage and plum on the nose. It's focused on the palate with loamy cherry, briary raspberry, roasted sage and cracked pepper. Has a savory quality. Deep, dark, rich and nice.

On opening had something that was quite weird on the palate that I can't describe but seemed off. With a little air it quickly blew off and the wine balanced out beautifully. Nice integrated fruit and tannins with just the right amount of acid to keep it from being jammy. Excellent.

One of the better Zins I've had. Clove spice and leather notes. Cherry fruit. Nice mouth feel. Very easy to drink. Any time kind of wine. A little hot, but then it's zin. I like it. Think I will grab a few more bottles.

What a pleasant surprise. Not your typical zin. Great bouquet, smooth tannins, nice and jammy. This is a crowd pleaser and a great value. Comes close to the Suhr Luchtel zin which I also enjoy
