Cloudfall Chardonnay

A well balanced wine of green apple and smoke with mango and peaches. So much of a compliment to a roast buttery chicken dinner.

The wine looks yellow colored. It smells like lime. The body is light/medium. An $8. Wine and shows it.

Very little nose. Pale yellow in color. Tropical fruit and creamy on the palate. A bit heavy on the mouthfeel but has a little acid. Easy sipping for a California chardonnay lover without breaking the bank. Enough acid for some foods but probably would not hold up to a heavy butter or cream sauce. Not totally one dimensional but not a long or changing finish- just pleasant afternoon glass of wine.
