A bottle from the 60s, in original wooden box. Cork was in bad shape, plastic piece came off immediately, and I had to push the cork in and decant. This cognac was originally meant to be on par with Delamain P&D, Martell Cordon Bleu, etc. Very smooth, little alchol in nose or taste (possibly a result of its decades in bottle?). Dark, mahogany color, very woody taste, with hints of plum, and a butterscotch aftertaste.
