Wine has been decanted for two hours. Aromas and flavors of stewed cranberries, dried figs, dried prunes, tomato leaf, chocolate, balsamic, meaty, and leather. Paired with lamb chops. Soft tannins. Long finish; minute plus. WOW!!

Pleasant if fairly simple Amarone. Easy drinker that's a bit sweet even for an Amarone. Deepens and develops more flavors with air. Improved over the course of 2 hours.

Drink now. Very jammy and tart. Somewhat one dimensional but very delicious with pasta and red sauce. Don’t think additional age will do much.

Soft ,interesting medicinal notes mixed with lavender nose. Nice cherry notes, but not showing any Amarone character that I love .

Three hour decant, presents a quieter version of the classic amarone nose of black cherry, deep raspberry, chocolate, almonds. The palate is also a toned down version of a better aged amarone and follows the nose closely without being to syrupy. A medium mouthfeel and a medium finish make this a reasonable amarone at a good price.

I'm not very well-versed in amarone-speak, but tried by-the-glass based on a restaurant's hype. Medium ruby in color, no heat despite high label ABV. Darkish nose of ripe cherries, wet leather and an earthy mineral/tobacco. Fruit leans toward plum and is a tad forward with medium tannins and a medium finish. I didn't find the spice/pepper to be as overpowering as some.

I thought this wine was good for the price. Not a high end amarone, but definitely good enough to be a daily drinker. This wine was uncorked to a very light stain on the cork. Bottle decanted 1 hr. The wine was poured into glass -- darker dirty red. The nose was cherry blossom, a little clove, and a somewhat dark aspect. The entry was soft, medium bodied, a touch acidic but more soft than acidic. Dirty red cherry, a …

Dark plum and very juicy. Smoothed out after about an hour in the decanter.

Spices are overpowering especially pepper. If the spice was less it would be really good. Slight orange rim with darker ruby color

Decanted half hour. Very powerful, full bodied, very dry. Serious nose, intense. High alcohol, pretty high tannins. Fruit subdued under the heavy structure and dryness. Heavy cured meat type texture. Very nice. Masculine, serious wine. Barolo-like. Probably would taste better on second day or with 4-5 hrs decanting. Worth trying again.

Brillant, medium ruby color with garnet notes, viscous @15% abv. Medium aromas of ripe cherries, leather, tobacco. Dry, medium acidity, medium(-) tannin, medium(+) alcohol and full body. Medium(+) rich flavor palate of cherries, ripe strawberries, mocha, and mineral. Great balance, they got it just right; supple and rich texture. Great length fruit-driven, almost fresh finish with bitter-sweet notes providing the aftertaste. Well done, a very nice one indeed,
